Veronica Dudo currently serves as the weekday news anchor for WJLP Channel 3 New York-New Jersey. She joined the station in May 2014 as a correspondent reporting on news, current events and national issues.
Dudo’s reporting has taken her across the country and abroad. In May 2013, she traveled to Europe for an international humanitarian assignment on global peace. Stateside, Dudo interviewed the 39th Judge Advocate General of the United States Army Flora Darpino. In October 2013, during an international economic summit in Washington D.C., Dudo became the first American journalist to interview Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice de Bourbon des Deux Sicilies.
Dudo has covered a wide range of stories including the aftermath caused by Hurricane Irene and Superstorm Sandy to the East Coast, the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, NV; the TCM Classic Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA; and a behind-the-scenes look at Ted Turner’s cable network, Turner Classic Movies, in Atlanta, GA.
Prior to joining WJLP, Dudo was an award winning journalist and anchor for WMGM-TV (NBC 40) in New Jersey. While there she reported on breaking news, business stories, human interest pieces; and hosted a lifestyle program featuring exclusive backstage and red-carpet celebrity interviews.
Additionally, Dudo has covered high profile news events for KYW Newsradio 1060 and KYW-TV (CBS 3) in Philadelphia. As a contributor across all media platforms, she has also written a variety of informative and engaging content for numerous magazines and websites across the country including AOL.com and SheKnows.com.
Dudo earned a B.A. in journalism from Rowan University, where she graduated with honors.
