Ellen Kolodziej is an Emmy-award winning broadcast journalist who’s worked at 12 TV and radio stations around the country. Born and raised in inner-city Philadelphia, Kolodziej received her bachelor’s degree from La Salle University where she now teaches a public speaking class. She received her Master’s degree in Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She’s worked as a reporter and anchor in Owensboro, KY-Terre Haute, IN-Allentown, PA-Harrisburg, PA-Minneapolis, MN-Atlanta, GA-and 3 stations in Philadelphia including NBC 10, PHL 17 an Comcast Sports Net. Kolodziej and her husband John Barr, an investigative reporter for ESPN, live in Havertown, Pa with daughter Krystyna and son Jack.
